Why a tracker matters

EPFO releases circulars frequently, often with short effective windows. Companies that miss a circular face rejected challans, delayed filings, and the cascade of issues that follows. The tracker is the lightweight instrument that prevents that.

We watch the EPFO portal and the official notifications, summarise into plain language, and surface the action required. The summary is not legal advice; it is operational guidance.

How to subscribe

The tracker updates every Tuesday after the EPFO release window. Bookmark this page or subscribe via the email signup at the bottom of the page (coming soon). High-impact circulars also surface in the in-app notification feed inside pPULSE Payroll.

For establishment-specific circulars (e.g., regional notifications), filter by establishment region and industry.

What we cover

ECR-related changes, contribution-rate notifications, member-services circulars (UAN, passbook, claims), establishment-side circulars (registration, transfer), and rate-engine changes that affect the wage ceiling.

We do not cover individual member grievances or employer-specific notices; those go through the establishment's authorised contact directly.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an official EPFO source?

No. We summarise official EPFO releases in plain language; the tracker is informational. For the canonical text, refer to the EPFO portal at epfindia.gov.in.

How quickly does the tracker update?

Every Tuesday after the weekly EPFO release window. High-impact circulars are surfaced sooner via the in-app feed inside pPULSE Payroll.

Are there state-specific notifications?

Yes. EPFO has regional offices and many notifications are region-specific. The tracker surfaces region tags so you can filter to the establishment's jurisdiction.

How is this different from the in-app notification feed?

The tracker is the public-facing summary; the in-app feed is integrated with your active payroll cycles and surfaces specific cycle-level actions. Both pull from the same EPFO release stream.
